India, Egypt, Indonesia, Israel, S. Africa = this is just a sample of hotspots that I visited or will visit in the near future. Recently someone asked me: “Aren’t you afraid of crime and terrorist acts when you go to these places?” My answer is that an unfortunate thing can happen to anyone anywhere, even in one’s hometown – like New York City, for example… Of course, I wouldn’t go hiking near the border of Iraq and Iran, but I definitely look forward to our tour of Rajasthan in February!<\/p>\n
