Let’s Travel Together… Again!
During the last 15+ years we’ve had many unbelievable experiences around the world, ranging from drinking beer with the locals at Lake Titicaca to chasing mountain gorillas in Uganda.
As you know, times have been very difficult during the last few years and we were forced to take an unusual break in our group travel. The war in Ukraine has added so much grief to our desire to travel that we could not even think about enjoying ourselves…
We’ve been thinking long and hard on what our next steps should be. Those memories from our past adventures with all of you, the photographs that are constantly popping up on our screens and our social media portals are bringing the nostalgic feelings front and center!!!
So, here is the good news – WE ARE BACK and are planning our next trip. Let’s reunite with the group of friends for a wonderful NEW YEAR celebration in South America.
We know that some of you have already been to these countries, but it is not about the destination – it is about celebration of LIFE, appreciating every minute of it, exploring new / old places with a great group of friends, with our fun evenings, with loud, full of laughter breakfasts, lunches and dinners, spending nights in some very memorable and hilarious places (Lake Titicaca, a village in Bhutan or a night in yurts in Uzbekistan, etc). Those are the moments that we miss and want to re-enact. We hope you do too!
Here is what we’re thinking:
- Arrive in Santiago de Chile on or before Dec 27th.
- Explore Santiago with a glass (bottle?) of wonderful Carmenere.
- Hike the Andes as we make our way to Argentina.
- Ring-in the New Years in Mendoza with plentiful Malbec from the local wineries.
- Tango in Buenos Aires.
- Walk around the beautiful Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian and Argentinian sides, sail a boat underneath the tons of water coming down all around you.
- Learn to samba in Rio and enjoy the perfect Picanha!
- Fly home (if you wish) on Jan 11th.
We’re still working out the details and must know how many people will commit to this trip! You know that it will be fun, comfortable and enjoyable at the most reasonable price!
